Entry and exit control system for door widths up to 1.60 meters. A 3D infrared sensor detects a narrow passageway area (0.5 meters) from above (suspension approx. 2.5 meters high) and works independently of light at any time of day or night.
The 3D “Time of Flight” sensor in the waterproof housing (IP65) uses AI (artificial intelligence) and optimized ML (machine learning) algorithms to distinguish between people and objects from the 3D matrix image.
On an internal RaspberryPi 4 board with an encrypted Linux operating system, the sensor’s counting information is processed and transmitted to the open source IoT platform “infinimesh” via an encrypted token system (256key).
The data format is data sparse and realized via MQTT 5 and JSON as a container.

With the new SmartDistancr, it is now even possible to monitor an area of up to 40,000 sqm. The camera-based area scanner uses artificial intelligence (AI) via an encrypted token system.
The Smart Distancr is powered by an Arm processor on Raspi Board and a Tensor Flow Shield, is encrypted and does not send image information to the cloud. In offline mode, “constraints” and “spatial geometries” can be defined and organized into “devices”.
The camera has a range of 30 meters. The ML algorithms used also analyze the emotional states (happy/neutral/disappointed) in the immediate sensor field (2-4 meters). The SmartDistancr signals minimum distances to be maintained. The free integration of further ML algorithms can be realized by our experienced datascientists after consultation.
The SmartDistancr is equipped with WLAN on the network side. Freely configurable, the SmartDistancr also works with GSM networks and is powered by a 12-volt power supply. Because of the light weight, an adhesive connection is sufficient.

Shaping the digital transformation: “Digital Now!

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) creates the economic policy framework and supports companies: SmartCountr installation can be subsidized by up to 85 percent from the federal and state governments. The new “Digital Now” funding program started on September 7, 2020 and supports companies with 3 to 499 employees with investments in two modules: Module 1: Investments in digital technologies, especially hardware and software. The program offers financial grants and is designed to encourage companies to invest more in digital technologies as well as in the qualification of their employees.
Who?
This module supports investments in software and hardware, especially for the internal and external networking of the company.
Support is provided for investments in digital technologies and related processes and changes in the company. These investments must be specifically identified by the applicant. This includes in particular hardware and software that promote the internal and external networking of companies, for example under the following aspects: Data-driven business models, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud applications, Big Data, sensor technology, 3D printing, and IT security and data protection.
This module helps companies to train employees in the use of digital technologies.
Funding is provided for investments that improve the qualifications of the company’s employees – particularly in the development and implementation of a digital strategy in the company, as well as in IT security and data protection, but also quite fundamentally on digital working and the necessary basic skills. Important: Companies can apply for funding in one or both modules.
How?
The funding is provided as a grant that does not have to be repaid. Companies have a maximum of 12 months to implement their funded digitization project. The grant is paid out after a successful audit of the proof of use. The maximum funding amount is 50,000 euros per company; in the case of value chain and/or network investments, it can be up to 100,000 euros per company. In module 1 as well as in case of cumulative use of modules 1 and 2, the minimum subsidy amount is 17,000 euros, in module 2 it is 3,000 euros. The subsidy is calculated proportionally to the investment costs of the company. The subsidy rate (in % of the investment costs) is graduated according to the size of the company.Thus, smaller companies receive a slightly higher percentage subsidy. The program runs until December 31, 2023.

The system with double sensor and smart gateway including GSM module is installed in the checkout and main portal area.
